There are a number of local events taking place this weekend, including the largest attended 5K of the year, the Purdue Challenge 5K. Other events include:
- Sacred Heart School 5K Run/Walk
- Frankfort Spaghetti Run 5K/10K
- Joel Gentz Memorial 5K
- Hershey Elementary Spring Carnival 4K/1Mile
