TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) - The date is set for the second-annual Tippy Mud Run.
The intense 5K obstacle course is now scheduled for Sept. 22.
Proceeds benefit Junior Achievement, an organization devoted to helping more than 8,000 local school children learn about finance and economics.
This year's run will take place at the Franklin Carey Boy Scouts camp.
"It allows people to come and enjoy a scenic route, there's going to be a lot of trail running but there's also going to be a lot of obstacles, some of which are going to be by nature that we'll have to maneuver through," commented Angela Hileman Director of Development for Junior Achievement.
Registration is $50 for adults and $45 for students.
